The Geller Center for Spiritual Development is hosting a Mardi Gras event to celebrate the success of their programs Saturday. Doors open at 8 p.m. at the Fort Collins Hilton. Tickets are $30 per person and tables are available for reservation.
There will be food, games and a silent auction, as well as a live performance by After The Fire, a non-profit band formed to raise funds for local charities. The group has been raising money for organizations in northern Colorado for over 25 years.
“Everyone should be involved in a non-profit to balance out our often for-profit lives,” said John Roos, volunteer at the Geller Center. “Tons of games, passionate people, spontaneity, networking and celebrating the weird in us all, together.”
The Geller Center is a non-profit organization that has made it their mission to provide a safe place for locals in Fort Collins to come and broaden their spiritual lives, according to the website.
